Motivation India

We’re working towards a future where people with disabilities have the mobility, confidence, opportunities and support to live full and independent lives.

Our Approach

Building systems, not just distributing wheelchairs.

As a catalyst organisation, Motivation India goes beyond providing wheelchairs. We build the skills, services, partnerships and systems that enable people with disabilities to live more independent and fulfilling lives.

We reach underserved communities, strengthen the capacity of healthcare and frontline professionals, support peer mentorship, promote inclusive sports, and work with organisations to advance inclusive policies and practices.

Our approach moves beyond donation-driven, standardised provision to a holistic, user-centred model that brings together mobility, peer empowerment, professional capacity-building and pathways to education, livelihoods and participation.

Our approach is built on:

  • Access: Bringing quality wheelchair services closer to underserved communities.
  • Capacity: Equipping professionals and frontline teams with the skills to provide quality, user-centred services.
  • Empowerment: Building confidence, independence and peer networks among wheelchair users and carers.
  • Inclusion: Creating opportunities through inclusive sports, education, livelihoods and community participation.
  • Systems change: Strengthening organisations, influencing practices and building sustainable solutions.

We connect people, services and systems to create change that lasts—from mobility to independence, and from inclusion to opportunity.
